Chemo Eve

Today has been a great day.  It is, said with sarcasm and truth, Chemo Eve.  Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of my life, so today was spent doing things I love...

I snuggled my boys in bed.
I read the Bible, for me, and to them.
I ate good food.
I sang Praise to God.
I was picked up and blessed by good friends.
I had a Dr. Pepper.
I went out on the boat and swam in 222 ft deep waters (not nearly as deep as the waters I'm swimming in the rest of the time).
I skipped rocks on the beach.
I studied God's word with faithful women in my life.

You guys, I'm not usually a big fan of acronyms and crazy pop-language.  But, YOLO!

Today, Chemo Eve, was a great day.

Yea, though the waters rise and the rivers run past, they will not overtake me, for the Lord my God is my Saviour!  (my paraphrase and prayer of Isaiah 43)
