Marathon Blues

Well, here we are in Victoria, October 8, 2006. What a sad weekend for me. I was supposed to run my first full marathon, but two weeks prior I pinched my Sciatic nerve. I asked the doctor if I would be able to run and he laughed at me. I guess that means no.

So, we already had hotel plans in Victoria, so we went. I thought it was fine until I watched people cross the finish line. Hence the horrible picture of wet & crying me!

We stayed with our friends Ryan and Katie, who successfully completed the half marathon. Way to go guys!

I think Jason's favorite part of the whole trip was the ferry ride...

As soon as he sees the deck, he's running to the edge and just enjoys every second of it!
