Drop the "C" Bomb
I'm going to drop a bomb today. The "C" bomb. Some of you have already had it land in your lap, probably in many different ways. Here goes...
I have breast cancer.
There, now that that's over with...I'll show you a picture of what I did today in preparation for my chemo that starts on Tuesday.
There will be more story to come...back story first, and then cancer story. Life has changed a lot in the last month and a half, so there is much to tell. I figure this is the best way to share that story without forcing people to listen or have to repeat myself lots of times.
Tonight, I just wanted to get it off my chest (no pun intended).

My heart goes out to you and your family. I can only imagine the conflicted feelings that come with coping with such difficult news so close to recieving your long awaited, joyous news, of your new addition. Having walked this journey with my mom, I know how challenging it can be (at least for a loved one), but I also know it can be beaten. Our family experienced much goodness and grace during that time, and I pray the same will be true for you and Jason. Blessings on you as you start your treatment. I pray for excellent outcomes, and minimum side effects. Mostly I pray for your healing and for peace and courage for you all, as you move forward.
