Dossier Complete!!

We did it!  

We mailed a completed dossier (fancy word for lots of required paperwork) to the agency today! 

Doesn't Korban look thrilled?  Yeah, he wanted to go to the toy store, "just to look mommy."  Seeing as how I had just said no (maybe for the 3rd time), he was less than pleased.  Oh well, such is life--5 year olds don't always pick up on the excitement of things!

The big question...NOW WHAT?!?  Well, we wait, that's what.  Once the agency receives and reviews the dossier, we go on a 3 month wait list.  During that time, I'll create our family profile book, which is what birth moms will look at to decide if we're the right family or not (no pressure).  Once the 3 month wait is over, our profile can be shown to women that are a potential match.  This sort of school yard pick  process can take up to 18 months, depending on how many birth moms are coming in to the agency.  God willing, it will be a short wait. 

We're looking forward to all that 2014 will bring--hopefully a match with our birth mom and baby!!
