Oh Canada!

 

A bit late, but better than never!  HAPPY CANADA DAY! 

We went to church, relaxed around the house, then went to town for the festivities. 

What I failed to tell you is that during the first 2 activities, it was sunny and beautiful....then we drove the 30 minutes to town and it poured buckets.  No really, they weren't drops, they were bucket sized amounts of precipiation that wrecked what was left of the fun in the park.

So, what did we do?  Spent a lovely evening at our good friends' home eating waffles, bacon and eggs.  Good times had by all, and all in the name of Uncle Can (that's our Canadian-ized version of Uncle Sam.
