Home, Sweet Home: Part 1

If I haven't mentioned it before now, PRAISE GOD, we are building a house!  After 2 years of waiting and praying and searching, we have finally bought land and are building!  Here is the first installment of photos...

 Here is the view of our property, looking to the east.  Our lot is sort of pie shaped, so the tree you see to the furthest left is near the end point of our land.  The lot is 3/4 an acre.

 This is looking southeast...all those trees will go.

 Here's the money shot!  We are so happy to have a view!!  Happy, thankful, and eager to get to enjoy it!

 SOLD!!!

 Here's the view now that the trees have been cleared, partly to open up our view, but also because none of them were very secure.

The molds for the footings...you can sort of see where the front of the house will be.

Stay tuned...more pictures to come as progress is made!!  Who knows how long it will take or when it will be done?!?  But since we know there is a "sooner, rather than later" in our lives now, "un poquito mas" is definitely bearable!
