Joy and Longing

This is the season of Advent. A time of waiting for that glorious Christmas morning, the day that Jesus was born. Advent: a time of longing, waiting, looking forward to. All this want, mixed with joy of knowing the promise will come true.

How fitting it is, for many of us to be in this time right now. We wait, we long, we look forward to, and we are joyful at the same time. We are excited for what this means in our faith lives, but also in our physical lives...wanting to know Jesus and celebrate his birth; wanting another child and waiting.

May this time of Advent be filled with patient hope and joyful longing for you all.
