Our First Family Hike

On September 1, just before Korban's 6 month birthday, we took our first big hike. We climbed up Lynn Peak together, completing the 10k journey in about 5 hours. Jason carried Korban up most of the way in the backpack given to us by Jason and Jules. We carried him down in the sling so he would take a nap (he doesn't sleep will in the backpack). All went well until I slipped and fell!! OUCH! Korban, amazingly enough, didn't even wake up. I, however, got a huge shock to my system...falling is bad enough, but add 17 extra pounds to it! It resulted in a few tears and a huge bruise. Oh well, overall the trip was pretty good for our first go!
